Why Shoppers Choose to Use Chat Features

Guest Post by Patty Whelan of Merchant Express.
Lauren Freeman, President of the e-tailing group (a niche e-commerce consultancy), published a white paper to share the findings of consumer rationale for using chat. Studies were undertaken to determine the “who, what, where and why” behind consumers’ choosing to use an online chat feature. Online retailers have much to be gained by implementing the best of the live chat experience into their business.
It can be concluded that the six core reasons online shoppers choose to use live chat are multi-faceted:

1.    Shoppers feel special and empowered when they use live chat

Strong expressed strong feelings of appreciation for chat’s availability to solve a problem when sought on their own terms. Knowing their problems and/or questions matter and that help is conveniently available is significant for many of the shoppers interviewed.

2.    Shoppers can multi-task when chatting

Busy online shoppers embrace technology that saves them time; freeing them up to accomplish other things. Live chat uniquely puts shoppers in a position to problem solve while still focusing on other tasks at hand. Not having to stray from their computers or pick up the phone (especially in a work environment) were significant reasons chat was favored.

3.    Chat provides instant gratification – getting questions answered in a timely fashion

For access any time of the day or night, live chat is hard to beat. These shoppers seek immediate answers to any and all questions and “get it done in 5 minutes versus having to call or go to a store.” Ultimately, the less time spent dealing with specific issues means more time for shoppers to do something else of their choosing.

4.    Chat works in multiple scenarios from simple service questions to complex product queries

Pre-order benefits are varying as the information gathered beforehand not only answers a question but saves having to return products. Alternatively, post-order lends itself to a different set of questions that can be just as valuable for saving time. Queries might seek general information but also benefit shoppers addressing processing challenges, returns and even post-purchase support.
Speed, efficiency and an ability to utilize live chat for almost every issue imaginable cannot be under-estimated. From basic service concerns to questions on the most complex of products including high ticket merchandise, all seem to be fair game for consumers.

5.    Chat allows consumers to avoid inconvenient or annoying alternative methods

The individuals that were interviewed outlined a multitude of reasons why chat is their preferred form of communication with the retailers they shop. Instantaneous responses in real-time are much preferable to the wait time of alternative email or phone options.

6.    Chat is like “good old-fashioned” customer service

Several respondents suggested that, “chat is like having a salesperson right there when you need them — and not (right there) when you don’t.” These chat interactions reinforce that retailers actually have people in place who understand the product and have valuable information to impart. This harkens back to times prior to this technological age when such knowledge was the rule of retail.
These key insights gained from consumers that appreciate a positive live chat experience should be taken into consideration for every retailer’s growth strategy.
•    Your live chat feature should be easy to find and easy to use.
•    Be sure that your customers are treated with intelligence.
•    Be helpful and don’t make the mistake of using chat technology as playing the role of a pushy salesperson.
Incorporate the best of traditional customer service interactions into your live chat feature to create a positive customer experience, enhance your company’s reputation and foster customer loyalty.

The Art of Making the Perfect E-Commerce Website - Avoid The Designing Black Holes

This is guest post by Albert Vaung
When you are designing an eCommerce website, there are no half measures. Your eyes need to be on the ball, all the time. You cannot afford any laxity when it comes to design. This is because more than anything else, the design of an eCommerce site is all about getting the attention of the target audience and creating an environment, wherein they are willing to part with their hard earned money. A website that can attract visitors, but has a very minimal conversion ratio is regarded a failure.
So, this begs the question – What’s the art of creating that perfect eCommerce website? Well, the answer is pretty simple, really and that is ‘Don’t fall into the black holes that are waiting to swallow you, every step of the way, when you are designing an eCommerce site. But you can only avoid them if you are able to identify them.

Here is a list of some of the design mistakes that eCommerce web designers need to avoid to bring forth the perfect website:

Forgetting that it is all about the products

You won't believe it, but there are some designers who actually forget to provide an interesting, intuitive, unique and detailed product information. Yes, I am sure you must have come across certain websites that have product information just for the heck of it. As a designer, you need to make sure that the prospective shopper is able to interact with the product that in many different ways, even though it's on the website. Even if the shopper cannot touch or feel the product, he/she must be able to experience it through the images on display, the in-depth and pertinent product information,  and anything else that you can put up on the product description pages (videos, audio) that will give the shopper a better understanding of what the product is all about.
The whole idea behind product description is to offer users a chance to make an informed decision regarding the product displayed.

Oops, I forgot the Contact Details

Only those designers who are not really serious about their website,  its products and services and the online business it represents, will hide the much needed contact information from website visitors.
They don’t want users to dig deeper into what the company is all about, but what about the online businesses that truly want to make their presence felt in the online world? If a designer forgets/hide contact information on such sites, then the credibility and profitability of the site take a direct hit. Every online shopper wants to know whether they are dealing with a company that is trustworthy, because at the end of the day, they will only part with their credit card information, if they are assured about the site’s credibility. As can be imagined, lack of contact information dilutes the trust factor big time and such website design ends up a failure.

Navigation that Lacks the ‘C’ Factor

The best website design, especially from the navigation perspective is one that makes, the navigation more ‘convenient’, yes forget about the X factor, it's actually the ‘C’ factor that determines the success or failure of the website. If your commerce website’s navigation is all over the place, there is no way in the world, that your target shoppers are going to buy from your site. Designers, at times, try to go overboard with their creativity, when they are designing the navigation for their online storefront. It’s important to remember that in such cases that the shoppers won't be appreciative of this fact. All they want to do, is search for their products, browse the various product categories, go through the product description and finally complete the shopping cycle effortlessly. They are not looking for creativity here, in fact what they are looking for is simplicity.

To Conclude

There is no shortage of black holes when it comes to designing eCommerce websites. If you fall into one of these, there is no coming back. But, on the other hand, if you manage to avoid them, you are creating an environment, when the success of the website is assured.

Tips to protecting Google Adsense account

Google Adsense is the best choice for small or new website which has not enough traffic for selling ad or join private ad network . It's also a main income source for bloggers and website owners ,even pro blogger such as problogger.net or johnchow.com .
I've got my Adsense account since 2010 and this account still live till now . So in this post ,I just want to write down some of my experience in working with Adsense system . Hope this helpful to you.

1, Keep your adsense in safe

Do not show your adsense information in forums ,websites because you are violating Adsense TOS . If you want to show a proof of your earning , make sure you hide the name and necessary information before . A proof of earning can be reason for an attack to your site from people who is green with envy.

2, Do not cheat

Cheating Adsense by change the ip and click the ad yourself will make your account banned soon. Google keep track on your IP address when login /log out and IP of person who click the ads. If these IPs are the same ,you may got an warning email .
All the text / banner that encourage people click the ad is also a violation to TOS . I don't know they use auto bot to check the text/banner or have a team for this work ,but we hardly out of their sight .

3, Disable ad-serving from copyrighted material

Always check for copyrighted material if you don't want to disable all ads in site : Pictures from pro-photographers , music /game ... The author can report to Google or Google check themself  .The best way to escape from this situation is very simple : remove all things that may copyrighted material and submit your site to Google support . They will review your site in next 3 working days and give you the answer . If your site meet their requirements ,they will restore ad-serving in your site.

4, Protect your Adsense Id

Sometimes, your adsense code can be appear in unwanted websites . Some people make a clone of your site with everything inside ,copy your post and ad code . Some people want to attack your adsense , they add your adsense code in their site with adult content ,copyrighted material ... You will get a ban easily without knowing the reason .
To make sure Adsense is only appear in your site , login to your Adsense dashboard - > go to Adsense Setup - > Site Authentication . You will find option for showing adsense ad in specific sites .

5, Invalid clicks

Google Adsense is one of the biggest incomes of Google , and Google invest billions dollars in Adsense system to make it become a giant in internet advertising industry . So their system is more and more intelligent .
Nowaday , Invalid clicks are still tracked but don't generate earning . Google can realize what invalid click and cheat clicks . Of course ,  this is still an automatic system and mistake is still exist .So take care of your account .

6, Bomb click attack

If  you have Google Adsense account for a long time ,you probably see a bomb click attack . The attackers click on the ads in your site many times . They try to make Google believes that account owner are cheating . And Google will give you a ban :D Sometimes , Google can realize this but sometimes they don't . I got a bomb click attack before . Google tracked the clicks but all these clicks don't generate any income and I didn't get any warning or ban from Google .
In my experience , to avoid troubles with a bomb click attack ,you should always keep an eye on your account . If there are any abnormal activity in your account ( the number of click increase extremely) , you should remove all Adsense code from your site , tracking the IP of attacker and then ban this IP range from accessing your site .

7, Try Google Adsense Support

If one day you receive a mail from Google for a ban or disable ad-serving ,you can take your last chance to mail to Google Adsense support . It's not easy to get the answer from them but it's better than do nothing and see all money wiped

7 Significant Considerations for Successful B2B Ecommerce

With more and more business houses going online with their product catalog, eCommerce
websites have become a crucial thing for success of any business. Managing online shopping
stores have become a herculean task and entrepreneurs are inventing newer techniques to
ensure online stores’ success. Over the couple of years, a number of sophisticated eCommerce
applications have been evolved, which are intensively being used across the world to run online
shopping centers.

Website appearance, content placements, navigation, flexibility to edit the content frequently on
the site with ease, searchability (Search Engine Optimization) of product or services, payment
gateways, feasibility to share the product with other people on different social media networks,
etc. are some of the crucial factors that need to be taken into consideration for successful B2B
eCommerce. So, when you choose particular eCommerce applications, you have to be very
smart enough to judge those applications for their capabilities. It is ultimately the eCommerce
applications that differentiate between a bad online store and a good online store. Confused?
Don’t be worried.

We have listed 7 considerations that may be of great use for you and help you run a successful
B2B eCommerce website. These are:

1. Think about Future: Do not just implement technologies that can benefit you only
in the present. Remember, an eCommerce site needs frequent updation time to time in
terms of web technology i.e. content creation, data storage, display and many more;
new payment gateways, etc. So, you should implement software that will allow you to
incorporate newer features in future.

2. Budget Planning: A cheaper technology in present may cost you a lot in future. And
even if you are ready to pay dollops of money in the development of the site in future,
you will at least have to be aware of all the expanses. A well-planned budget strategy will
allow you to stay ahead in the competition.

3. Branding of Your Portal: Consider effective advertising and promotional techniques to
make your site popular instantly. Besides, you should also create a web design which is
unique and appealing. A logo of your organization on the top of the web portal will allow
you to brand your B2B portal.

4. Project Team: Web designing and development, SEO, Marketing and Advertising,
Promotion, etc are some of the most crucial departments of your organization, which
should be executed in proper coordination. Particularly, at the initial stage, all these
departments will have to work coherently to get the maximum output.

5. Integration Feasibility: Are you able to integrate your business application with
the eCommerce platform you have chosen to host your B2B site? If no, you should
instantly act. It is very important that your eCommerce application meet all your business
requirements. It should be capable of managing all the data and provide information
quickly when sought.

6. Is your ecommerce application tells you what do your users demand? It is very
necessary to understand what is preferred and demanded by your users. Many B2B
companies tend to skip these questions but it should be taken into consideration seriously.
Remember consumers/customers are the people, who we create our online stores for and
hence, their likes and dislikes are crucial.

7. The Ultimate Goal: Note down all your expectations from your eCommerce application.
If you know what exactly you need from your operations, you will be in better condition
to decide if your project is successful or not.

You see? A right eCommerce platform, its Budget and Technical Capabilities, Workforce, etc
are all important elements that can ensure the success of your B2B eCommerce website. When
all these points are analyzed, you are more likely to make your venture a hit.

7 Essential Design Elements of E-Commerce Email

Email is still king. Even as other channels become more popular, email remains popular among Internet users. Marketers still value email as a way to communicate with consumers.
It's important for designers to understand the value placed on email and email design.
With this in mind, let's look at the essential elements of e-commerce email design.

E-commerce companies work hard to build their email subscriber lists. These folks realize the importance of having a list. To have a consumer opt-in to an email program is a sign that they want to receive valuable correspondence from a company. If you can create great email designs you will be a valuable resource for any company looking to hire.

1. Visual Brand Relevance

Source

If you are looking for email inspiration you can't go wrong with Fossil. In the last year or so their program has been stellar. The design really establishes what their brand is about and these days the Fossil brand is cool, laid back and stylish. Fossil has become known for way more than just watches. Their apparel and accessories are sought after by folks that have a little funky and organic style. Use brand images and photography in emails for e-commerce brands like Fossil. It's a great way to really entice people to click through to the site to shop, but it's also something they'll actually look forward to seeing in the inbox each week.

2. Purpose & Call-To-Action

Source

The simple concept and design of the LL Bean Signature emails are great. They focus on simplicity. You won't see a ton of calls to action. Instead, each email has a basic purpose and a call-to-action to support that purpose. In this case, LL Bean Signature is promoting their polos. There are two main calls to action. Shop the featured polo or shop all polos. Simple. Easy to understand.

3. Cohesive Theme

Source

Levenger often has a theme for their emails. This email featured a theme for graduates. The entire email was focused on items a graduate would need for their professional career. Cohesiveness is important when creating emails like this. It is relevant to a target customer. The email is not relevant to everyone, but there are still a few small links near the top and the logo for others to click through to the website.

4. Descriptive Headline

Source

Johnston & Murphy did a great job with a headline in a recent email. The headline is only two words, but you instantly understand what the email is about. This is important. Headlines are key to letting the email opener know they are looking at the right email. The subject line needs to lead to the headline, which leads to the landing page. Johnston & Murphy did this plus they took advantage of a timely event, The Kentucky Derby.

5. Enticing Links

Source

Danner takes a little different approach with their email program. Every month they send out their Danner In The Details email. It's a great series with a focus on content. The design is simple. There is quite a bit of content for each section of the email, but what is really important here is the enticing nature of the content. It leads you just enough to get excited and then the links call you to action to click through to the website. This is good email design and strategy. Get the consumer to the website.

6. Obvious Links or Buttons

Source
Old Navy's emails are entirely unique. They are flashy and in your face. The brand has changed marketing strategies in recent years. They are promotional and fun. Their email program reflects this brand strategy. Another good aspect of the Old Navy email design is the obvious links. On the left side of this email you'll notice four links for Women, Women's Plus, Maternity, and Men. These basic looking text links, but that's what consumers are comfortable clicking. Don't get too crazy with buttons and links. Make them obvious for users so they are comfortable clicking.

7. Consumer Focus

Source

Woolrich has a great email program. The design is visually appealing. The company very much communicates their brand message with their design and imagery. In this example you see the photo of the woman. It's something the target audience of Woolrich will see and understand. Photos like this are great for connecting with an audience.

But what I love even more about this email is the customer-focused list of benefits. It can be difficult to focus on the customer benefits when referring to products. Woolrich does a good job. They understand that a customer is not just buying a shirt. The customer is getting something that will keep them dry in the summer months. This email is selling more than just a shirt. It's selling comfort.

Top 5 Tips to Increase Conversion rate on your ecommerce website

conversion rate
This is guest post by Richard on tips to increase conversion rate on ecommerce websites .
Conversion on a site refers to the conversion rate which is a measure of the total number of people that go on to make online purchases. With websites, it is mainly a percentage of visitors who make purchases. A lot of websites are mainly interested to increase the number of visitors. These are the ones that are unable to resolve the problems in order to make navigation easier for customers. By resolving such problems, these websites can increase their conversion rates at a very low expense. Look at the following top 5 tips to increase conversions on your site

1. Simplify Navigation

The more complex your website, the less the number of people making purchases. Be simple to encourage people to buy from you. Accessibility is the foremost issue that prevents users to purchase items online. An inaccessible website potentially loses almost 5 percent of its sales. Make your website accessible through all browsers as those unable to do so lose 15 to 20 percent of their total sales.

2. Only Ask The Right Information!

There is no reason why you should ask customers? email addresses to let them view online brochures or even ask their phone numbers before proceeding further to an email enquiry page. Do not force your users to create accounts to make purchases, as this won't guarantee them becoming return customers. Simplify things and ask only relevant and legitimate questions that have to do with the sales only. Use customer feedback data or questionnaires to collect other information.

3. Develop a Bond of Trust

Following plenty of internet credit card scams, a lot of users are still reluctant to use such private and confidential details online. Provide 24 hour customer support service through a phone number so the users can identify you to a location. Show the privacy policy and clearly explain the shipping policy and procedures as well to strengthen customer trust. Display the ?VeriSign Secured? logo on the website if you have an SSL certificate.

4. Maintain a Clear Returns Policy

Make the online shopping experience as plain and clear as brick and mortar shopping. You should know how to deal with the return policy pertaining to different articles of sale, for example, the return policy for clothes is very different as customers are not able to see them closely on the internet and might find them different in reality. Similarly, perishable items are not accepted upon return anywhere in the world once they are sold- not even at physical stores! Develop a distinct and different policy for all items that you sell.

5. Offer Easy and Different Payment Mediums

Not everyone owns a credit card which should be very obvious to you. Similarly, not everyone who has it uses it as well. So, offer several easy and effortless modes of payment to suit the needs of every customer. Many times, customers add a lot of products in their online basket and are satisfied with every procedure on the website, but fail to make purchases when the website limits them to do it through one means only. Make your online website more accessible and simple to let customers know you value them.

Ultimate Guide to Get approved by Google Adsense

This is a guest post by my friend SAHL AHMED who is a tech geek and a SEO expert and Founder of Humor And technology Blog – HumorTechBlog.Com

Most of the new bloggers step into blogging only because of Google Adsense . They think that they can make some money from their blog with Google adsense. But when they don’t get approved by adsense they are left with only one choice to quit blogging.
In this post ,I will show you the method to get approved by Google Adsense.
First of all , I assume you know what Google Adsense is the importance of Google Adsense to blogger's life .Here's a small summary if you never heard about Adsense .
What is Google Adsense?
Google.com earns most of revenue by allowing other website owners to advertise on their search result pages. This is managed through a program called Google AdWords.
Now you can earn a share of the revenue that Google earns from AdWords by displaying ads on your site. In other words, you're helping Google advertise and they pay you a percentage of what they earn.

This revenue sharing program is called Google AdSense.
It is the highest paying PPC (pay per click) program.

Who can join adsense?

Adsense is FREE to Join if your website passes its CRITERIAS

There are many criterias
1.Your website should be 6 months old
2.It should have be a Top level Domain
Click HERE for the list of criterias

How much time would it take to get adsense approved by using this method?

1. 15 To 30 days or maximum 2 months
2. Implementation of 14 Steps.

You have to implement 14 points below in order to make your blog/website ready for Google Adsense and get approved quickly :

1. Start a Blog on blogger.com Or use ur existing blog.

2. Put a cool and soothing template ..not too flashy and but too simple. It should look professional.

3. Buy a Custom domain (top level domain i.e (.COM) to publish your blogger blog on it. It should have a Name which relates to your blog . It will cost you some money but worth to do . (Google doesn't accept domains with .blogspot.com nowaday)

Tip: search on google for "How to use custom domain on blogger"

4.Write 20-30 good articles about your niche . If you can't , go to any article directory ( like Ezine etc ...) ,get articles and rewrite them in a very different way .
Tip: The more Orignal content , the better are the chances but don't rush and put a lot of articles.

5. An about me/Us page and a privacy policy page is a must-have and link to these pages should be seen on your homepage.

6. Put a neat and clean EMAIL subscription Box and a Blog archive widget.

7. Submit your website to Google , Bing , Yahoo and other search engines.

8. Bookmark your website in google and submit to Digg .
Tip : - never submit more than 15 links to Digg at a time if you don't want to get a ban !
        - follow and get followers before submitting to Digg.

9. Make a Facebook fan page ,a Twitter account and a youtube channel in your blog or your website name. If not ,try your name .

Tip: Put a link – “FOLLOW US On twitter" clickable image or a Facebook like box on your blog!

10. Get some Facebook fans and Twitter followers by inviting fellow bloggers , friends , family , relatives . Upload 5-10 videos on Youtube and get some views.
Tip: Add a link at the start of your video description and at Twitter / Facebook about us page.
There are 2 ways by which you can get views to your video.
1. White hat method – By uploading original video tutorials or funny or cool videos which are made by you.
2. Black hat method- This method includes re-uploading of latest videos which have less views till now and which are good enough to get a lot of views.

I don’t encourage black hat method so for more information please contact me .

11. Share every post of you on Facebook profile and to Twitter followers , ask them to visit your website often.

12.Make an account on flixya.com and upload 10 videos or more .The same which you uploaded on youtube.
Tip : put your website link in all the videos on bottom of original description.
After uploading 10 videos or more you can apply for Adsense via flixya.com by going to the monetize tab.

13.Get traffic to you blog ( get as much as u can after applying for adsense as they check your website traffic)

Traffic sources :
-.Search engines
-.forums
-.twitter
-.facebook profile and fan page
-.youtube
-.flixya.com
-.Email marketing

14.( Most important )You should apply by flixya.com and by your website also ,on the same day.

Fill in all the details properly as it is difficult to change it after approval

15. If you apply the second time after getting banned or disapproved : make small changes in your ADDRESS and apply again..
e.g make co op ..co operative or make opp --> opposite or vice – versa.

What will happen after applying : The trick ?
As youtube and flixya.com are Google revenue sharing platforms , Google will check the both these .
So if your making an improvement at 3 places ,you will become a good publisher to invest in + you have a blog /webisite which is worthy of showing ads . Therefore it approves you.

PLAN A TIME TABLE FOR ALL THIS SO THAT IT DOESN’T BECOME STRESSFULL
This is not an illegal method ,I've just shared what helped me to get an adsense account.

Please note:
-Wait for 10-12 days before applying from flixya.com.
-While making an account on flixya.com or youtube use the email address by which your are gonna apply for adsense.

Now that you know all the things needed to make a powerfull blog.
Start now and rock it.

Thank you for your precious time.

It is one of the oldest free e-commerce software that offer several marketing options and supports most of the payment system. This multilingual and SEO friendly app works with PHP/MySQL. How to avoid becoming a victim of Paypal ?

PayPal is a great idea and for 95% of users it is a wonderful way to do business without any problems. BUT there are drawbacks and you should know them if you want to protect yourself. I would like to offer a few pieces of advice so you may avoid becoming another PayPal VICTIM .

1. PayPal is a great option for payment, but they are not a safe payment method .And it sometime put troubles in your account ,so just like the saying goes, NEVER PUT ALL OF YOUR EGGS IN ONE BASKET if you want your business is not interrupted . Having several accounts is a good idea .

2. Be aware that the Seller and Buyer Protection offered on PayPal is not exactly as it seems. Nothing is 100% secure . And in the worst case ,you still lost money with these "protection" . Never buy or sell any item that you are not prepared to lose. Trying to follow the rules is still recommended but don't expect them to protect you at all times. Keep your own documentation, research as much as you can, and do good business and your are bound to come out ahead.

3. if you are a seller , as an extention of #2, never 'offer' insurance and signature confirmation as an option. For anything of value these must be required, at the very least you have to get a signature confirmation. These are the only tools you have to prove that the transaction was completed. Don't give up your protection because the buyer doesn't feel like paying for it. Because in the end it is up to you, not the buyer, to provide proof of delivery.

4. Always use your CC for transactions on PayPal. Mastercard and Visa only. AMEX and Discover are not recommended because in the case of chargebacks they do not hold PayPal responsible for chargeback and disputes. Also keep in mind that you have every right to dispute the charge with your CC company, but if you win, PayPal may very well debit your account for that amount. Be prepared to lose the money or spend a lot of time fighting with PayPal over lost funds, a frozen account, or worse, an 'authorized' withdraw from your bank account.

5. If you have to supply PayPal with a bank account in order to make withdraws, you may want to consider opening a second account just for PayPal and internet transactions. This can limit your vunerability to unauthorized charges. Keep in mind that these charges may cause your account to be overdrawn and assessed NSF charges, but typically you can have these reveresed if the charges were not authorized.

6. Never let anyone log into PayPal using your computer and vise versa. PayPal has a great way of linking accounts and occasionally it has no rhyme nor reason. PayPal does use ISP to link accounts though and although this is a silly way to link accounts, it is done and it causes problems for many. If at any time PayPal has 'linked' your account with another and the other user has a problem with PayPal, their problem now becomes your problem. Example, Customer A buys from Customer B and pays with PayPal, Customer B then buys something from Customer C and also uses PayPal. PayPal discovers that Customer A has used a stolen credit card. All three accounts will immediately be affected.

7. My friend - a money exchanger (he buy and sell money in payment systems such as Moneybooker ,Paypal,Liberty reserve...) has a rule for himself : never receive an amount of money if he can't verify the source . Long time ago ,he did receive an amount from a fraud paypal account - and got frozen immediately

8. READ PayPal's ToS, and understand it fully. They are not very flexible if they catch you breaking a rule and if you have any kind of funds in your account they could be held for 180 days. Their ToS is long and complicated but it's the small print that has most often caused problems with users.

9. As an expansion of #8 ,you can see many service for removing Paypal limitation in account ,and they can charge you 50% of total amount in Paypal account for doing this work . In fact, you can remove the limitation yourself by contacting Paypal and do as they request .

10. Keep in mind that despite knowing the ToS, you could still get burned because of the simple phrase found in it, "If PayPal 'believes' that you cause a liability to yourself, PayPal, or other members". This statement is so broad that it is often the only thing in the ToS that PayPal can get you with. So in the case you can't take your money back after meeting scammers ,Paypal will take no responsibility .They wrote rules and rules are good for people who write them first

11. If your PayPal account is frozen or you feel you have been unjustly treated, remain persistent. Be prepared to report PayPal to all the appropriate authorities.

my experience with Paypal for getting money back after got scammed by seller

Have you ever use Paypal for making payment ?

Have you ever scammed via Paypal ?
Have you ever win a dispute in Paypal but you can't get money back because the seller take money from his paypal account and go away ?
I was in this situation two times ,and I took my money back in both .
I know many peoples who suffered the feeling of losing money when he /she got scammed via Paypal . And most of them avoid using Paypal for the buying in internet for the next time . Is it worth for doing that ?
here is my experience when got scammed , I hope this story will be helpful to you ,my friend ,who want to use paypal as payment method .

The first time I sent $250 to a seller in china via ioffer.com website ,transactions was made outside ebay ,so paypal buyer protection policy doesn't work in this case . She sent me a cheap ring instead of a cellphone which I bought . She even added EMS shipping tracking number to paypal . I took photos of the ring I received ,scan shipping bill , and sent all these to this email address : apaccrme@paypal.com ( this is email of anti fraud department in paypal ) . After checking all document I sent , Paypal made a refund for me . It had been 10 days since we made transaction but Paypal still made refund to me .

The second time , I sent $400 to a seller in Australia for buying an iphone . After payment made ,the seller informed me that he sent me the good via Fedex and it would take 7days for arriving ,and he never answered any mail of me later . 7days ,I still got nothing . I opened a disputation in paypal ,they said after 15days without response from seller ,they would decide this case as my favor . After 15 days ,they said me this disputation was decided as my favor and I won in this case ,but seller withdrew money from his account so I got nothing back . I was angry . But I had a trick . I used another email address and mail to this seller for asking about his iphone and want to buy one for my self . He thought me another victim ,so replied me immediately . In mails ,I said I want to know about himself and his paypal address . He answered me that he is legit seller and give me his paypal mail address . His paypal's email when he replied me was changed ,it mean he created another paypal account for scamming . I forwarded all mails I received from this seller to apaccrme@paypal.com and noted that this seller is obviously scammer and I showed that he change his paypal account for scamming. After receiving my mail ,2 hours later ,I got an email from paypal said that base on my emails ,they decided to send money back to me from their fund and they would find the scammer-seller for take money back with the help of police . I got $400 back to my paypal account .

Here are my notices for when using paypal :
1,Try to collect emails address of paypal's departments and mail to them all when you are scammed . In general ,I mailed to all of paypal departments but only apaccrme@paypal.com is responsible for solving my trouble . Ms Selina at apaccrme@paypal.com is very honest and friendly . She's there to hear you .
2, Whatever you say will be nothing if you can't prove or showing any proofs . A shipping bill ,photos of good you receive,emails... are solid proofs for you .
3, In a disputation , you get only 50% to take money back ,if you are unlucky ,you will lose money . So mail to them immediately when you think you are scammed and mail as many as possible .
4, Be patient and friendly , don't mail to paypal with your angry words . In many payment processes I used ,paypal's support is the fastest and honest .

I hope my story is a good example for you if you got scammed . Thanks for reading
